My name is Christina Ayers, the owner of the bakery. What’s a Wezzy, you may ask? It is my childhood nickname. In my family, everyone has a nickname, and mine was given to me by my oldest sister when I was a toddler. It was the morning after Christmas, and I was running through the house yelling, “WHEEEEEEE”. My sister, who was sleep-deprived at the time, yelled out, “WEZZY” as I passed by where she sat, and it stuck!
I chose to call the bakery Wezzy’s because it represents my most genuine self: loud, passionate, and overly competitive. And I am most passionate about baking and celebrating the people in my life. Here at Wezzy’s Bakery, we want to partner with you in celebrating the important events and people in your life.
